He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur John and Leola Alberta Bull (Craidge); his sons, Russell L. and Mark L.; his brothers, Clayton and Arthur Nelson Bull; and his half-brother Leonard Hagerl.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Helen Swantek; his children, Byron L., Becky J. Shank (Roger) and Lori J. Moore (Cary); his grandchildren, Laura J. Smith (Jake), Ashley R. Hess (Aaron Green), Cameron T. Moore and Madison R. Moore; his great grandchildren, Joel, Jack and Aden; and his pet Mocha.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mt. Carmel's Food Bank.
