He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman L. Schutt and Ruth Schutt (Warren); and his siblings, Henry, Robert (Nancy) and Sharon Hobbs (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Janice (LaRue); his children, Melanie Hinkle (Jim) of Gibsonburg, Norman E. Schutt of Sylvania, Scott Schutt (Amber) of Perrysburg and Mark Schutt (Allison) of Toledo; his grandchildren, Jay (Jamie), Alissa, David Hinkle, Kasey Schutt, Noah and Grant Schutt; his great grandchildren, Khloe and Emmett Hinkle; and his sister Carol Cutwright (Herb).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (4727 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park (4210 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church (Toledo, OH) or the Bedford Senior Community Center (Temperance, MI) in Norm's honor.
