She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard V. Jacobi and Phyllis A. Jacobi (Thomas); her son Jeffery Smith; her siblings, Thomas Jacobi, Joann Freels and Dolores Himelhoch; and her stepfather Glen Windisch.
She is survived by: her husband John A. Smith; her daughter Cyndy Higgins (Steve); her grandchildren, Brittney Tormoehlen, Jacob Higgins (Heather) and Heather Barton (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Claire, Lucylyn, Isabel, Nathanial and Lillian.
