It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David R Keister of Lambertville, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Keister and Ellen Keister (Manthey). He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn S. Palmer; his wife Carolyn "Alk"; his children, Laurie Drerup (Dale) and David Keister, Jr. (Jenni); his brothers, Paul Keister (Mollie) and Thomas Keister; his grandchildren, Joshua Keifer, Ryan Keifer, Julia Keister and David Keister, III (Robbie); and his pets, Zoe and Jasper. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation with Social Distancing guidelines will be from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday, September 4, 2020, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 5, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
