It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Wilkins (Lakeview, Michigan), who passed away on May 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ananias Carter and Inez Carter-Partee; her husband James O. Wilkins, Sr.; her sister Ernestine Fisher; her siblings-in-law, Gladys Walker, Missionary, Viola Settles and Joseph W. Wilkins; her children, Michael Wilkins and April Smith; her grandson Jason Clarke; and her great grandchild Jaylin "Kyree" Hatter.
She is survived by: her children, James O. Wilkins, Jr. (Patricia), Wade Wilkins, Darlene Batton (Michael), Esther Wilkins, Joe O. Wilkins, Sr. (Letitia), David Wilkins and Pamela Wilkins; and her sister Lorraine Hollin. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
