It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Thomas Gilbert of Lakeview, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert and Athol Gilbert (Knickerbocker); his son-in-law Rick Ackerson; his brother John Gilbert (Margaret); his brother-in-law Lum Feutz; and his nephew Danny Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Saxton of Lakeview; his children, Cathy Ackerson of Lakeview, Julie Menard (Ron) of North Dakota and Gary Gilbert (Julie) of Nashville, MI; his grandchildren, Lisa Young (Tim), Katie Burgess (Mike), John Menard, Aaron Gilbert and Nick Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Sydney; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Saxton (Edna) and Jane Feutz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
