With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Elizabeth Nienhuis of Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Youngman and Bessie Youngman (Farnsworth); and her husband Alfred "Al" Nienhuis. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Marc Nienhuis of Kawkawlin and Phillip Nienhuis (Sharon) of Hudsonville; and her grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Suzanne, Stephanie, Nathan, Matthew, Anna, Jan and Eric. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Donations in Jean's memory can be made to the Lakeview United Church of Christ.
