He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Christensen and Florence Christensen (Hansen); his wife Shirley (Newman); his sister Lee; and his siblings-in-law, Ivan and Sheila Christensen.
He is survived by: his daughter JoLynn Steffes; his granddaughter Meagan Steffes; and his brothers, Dale Christensen (Frances), Dan Christensen and Keith Christensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
