Audrey Rose Sample-Miles Obituary

Audrey was a "mini-me" version of her mom Trish, who survives along with her stepdad, Bob Sowles of Greenville, and is also survived by her dad and stepmom, Chris and Leslie Miles of Six Lakes.

Her infectious laugh and boundless energy were the heartbeat of family gatherings. Audrey's siblings, Olivia, Brookelynn, Skyler, Lauren, Alyssa, Christopher Jr., Isiah, Lillian, and Kylee, will forever miss their sister.

Audrey's grandparents, Ruth Miles of Six Lakes, Richard and Margaret Welch of Greenville, Marty and Becky Sowles of Stanton, Al and Pam Wright of Sidney, and Justin and Linda Sample of Ionia, along with her great-grandparents Bobbie Baker of East Tawas and Carol Rydahl of Sidney, will fondly remember her as a source of joy and family pride. Her beloved uncle, Chris "McShorty" Sample of Las Vegas, Nevada, along with her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, will hold dear the memories of her spontaneous adventures and loving embraces.

A graduate of Greenville High School's class of 2023, Audrey was currently studying to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion and desire to help others were evident in her pursuit of a career in healthcare.

Audrey's interests reflected her zest for life. She was a very loving and caring individual, always connected with her family and friends through her phone, never letting distance be a barrier. True to her free-spirited nature, she was always up for a new adventure, with a love for hot sauce as fiery as her personality. She had an affinity for roses, which mirrored her beauty both inside and out and Audrey was always on the go.

While Audrey's time on earth was brief, her impact was profound. The words loving, friendly, and adventurous only begin to encapsulate the extraordinary person she was. A bright soul, Audrey's memory will be a guiding light for all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Audrey was preceded in death by many grandparents, her uncle John Martinez, and her aunt Krista Basney, who have welcomed her into eternal rest with open arms.

Her family will forever celebrate Audrey's life, cherishing every moment spent with her. As they navigate this difficult time, they take solace in the knowledge that Audrey's spirit continues to inspire love and adventure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A memorial service celebrating Audrey's life will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 11 AM at the Lakeview Baptist Church (9580 Howard City-Edmore Road, Lakeview).
