It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norene M. Flickema of Lakeside, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Noel Bert and Irene Veronica Clawson (McMahon); her husband Albert Harry Flickema; her daughters, Marjorie Lund (Clifford) of Fruitport and Susan Carlson (Roger) of Muskegon; her grandchildren, Gina Reynolds (Chris) of Niles, Shelley Kurth (Brad Kurth) of Spring Lake, Chris Lund (Becky) of Norton Shores and Kim Hennesey (Aaron) of Muskegon; and her sister-in-law Karolyn Rollenhagen (Ken) of North Muskegon. She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
For a more lasting memory, donations in Norene's name can be made to either the USS Silversides Submarine Museum or Center Lake Bible Camp.
