He was predeceased by: his parents, John Suhonen and Janie "Mae" Suhonen (Chapman); his wife Rebecca "Becky" Balyeat; his son Jerry Suhonen, Jr.; his grandson Matthew Daniels; and his brother John "Jay" Suhonen.
He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Suhonen (Lisa) of Battle Creek and Don Suhonen (Susan) of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Cody Suhonen (Rebecca Smith), Heather Suhonen (Ashley Bradfield), Bradley Suhonen, Nicholas Daniels (Savvy), Dana Meyers (Sam) and Teran Green; his great grandchildren, Abel, Jackson, Fanny Mae and Elijah; and his sister Margie Hensell of East Leroy.
