He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Johnson and Margo Johnson; his sister Janet Lee Johnson; and his son-in-law Tom Posey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johnson of St. Joseph; his children, Kristin, Sally Geldhof of St. Joseph and Steve; his grandchildren, Sam, Sally Posey, Pieter, Max, Ellie Geldhof, Tanner, Kyle and Brooke Johnson; and his niece Tracey Eichenberger (Pete) of Tulsa, OK..
