He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dean Hallifax; his sister Heather Bush; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Chebli and Dan Boucher. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jayne Hallifax; his sisters, Janeen Chebli and Laurel Boucher; his nephews, Zachary Boucher (Chelsey), Steve Bush and Kyle Bush (Kaela); and his great-nephew Henry Bush.
