She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dolly Day (Sidney), Richard Burris and Lucille Shoemaker. She is survived by: her parents, Patrick Litteral (Lydia) of North Carolina and Cristine Litteral (Burris) of Milford; her husband Michael Carson; her daughter Lucy Carson; her godson Dexter Ketchum; her sisters, Kady Blodgett (Emily) and Kirstin Ketchum (Ryan); her parents-in-law, Tina Collin (Dennis) of Mt. Pleasant, Rob Schutt of Lake Isabella and Mike Wood (Lora) of Lake Isabella; and her grandmother Carole Lee Burris of Milford. She is also survived by many other grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions in Shelby's memory can be made to the family for a future education fund for her daughter, Lucy.
