He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pitts and Bobbette Bacon; his parents-in-law, Frank and Norma Powell; and his brother-in-law Patrick Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Pitts (Powell); his stepchildren, Lisa Long of New Salisbury, IN and Aaron Harry (Margaret Bennett) of Rosebush; his grandchildren, Chase, Norma and Emma Long; his sisters, Diana DeLau of Weidman and Peggy Germain (Gary) of Mt. Pleasant; his stepfather Al Bacon of Mt. Pleasant; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Powell (Cindy) of Weidman, Jeff Raymond of Mt. Pleasant, Mike Powell (Sherry) of Mt. Pleasant, Mark Powell (Christa) of Mt. Pleasant, Bob Powell (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant and Helen Powell-Mummey (Rob) of Alaska. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
