She was predeceased by: her children, Jesse Swartz of Lake, Jewell Henry Norton of Paw-Paw, Charles Dougherty of Clare, Julia Dougherty of Long Lake, Gale Letts of Filnt and Ben Letts of Farwell; and her siblings, Jewell Swartz, Joe Swartz, Betty Bay, Henriette Martin and Verna Lee Swartz.
She is survived by: her parents, Jewell William and Theada Leone Swartz (Lux); her husband Frank; her sister Janet Prenger (Max Matthews) of Harbor Springs; and also Margaret Swartz Prenger of Harrison. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
