With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Theresa Walters of Lake, Michigan, who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William DeFrain and Mathilde DeFrain; her siblings, William, Robert, Floyd, James, Jerry, Florence, Lillian, Dorothy, Darlene and Cheryl; and her daughter Theresa.
She is survived by: her husband William G. "Bill" Walters of Gulliver Lake, MI; her children, William A. Walters (Jennifer) of Macomb, MI, Christopher M. Walters of Clinton Township, MI and Susanne L. Torres (Robert) of Deming, NM; her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Sherwood of Gould City, MI, Nancy Metts (Ernie) of Manistique and Margaret Meyers of Detroit, MI; and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Stephani, William, Lukas, Rhyan, Jordyn, Morgan, Devon, Destaney, Deanna, Dezeray, Scott and Cecil.
The family of Gail Walters asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her name to Schoolcraft Memorial Hospice program, Manistique, MI.
