It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lee Colletta of Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pobanz and Esther Pobanz (Hoffman). She is survived by: her husband Louis Colletta; her children, Louis of Syracuse, NY, Marge (John Zott) of Alexandria, VA and Jack (Katie) of Winter Garden, FL; her grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen (Nicki), Kassie (Brian), Adam and Evan; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Rhea; and her siblings, Shirley Racioppa of Grand Prairie, TX and Gerald Pobanz (Sandy) of Port Austin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Champagne Funeral Chapel (7356 Michigan Ave, Pigeon, MI 48755).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Karmanos Cancer Institute.
