He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mary Jo Bishop and Joyce Freitas; and his nephew Hal Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Thressa; his children, Mike (Jean), Don (Ruth), Tom and Susan; his grandchildren, Jeff (Nicole), Trey and Della; his son Clayton; and his siblings, Jim, Wally (Bernice) and Debbie Sperling (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kelseyville Fire Department, the Kelseyville American Legion Post-194, or Kelseyville Presbyterian Church.
