She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Borst and Sylvia Borst (Jewett); her husband Roy Phillips; her daughter Sharon; her sons-in-law, Russ Graham and John Athey; and her granddaughter Amy Athey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Shilling (Ron) of Weidman and Kathie Athey of Clio. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren.
