He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Marcola and Maryann Marcola (Bonatowski); and his siblings, Dennis Marcola (late Vera), Ronald Marcola (Susan) and Claudette Tranchida (Jim).

He is survived by: his wife Erika Seth; his children, Francy Lemp (Dave), Julie Rowe (Larry), Ted Marcola (Kelly) and Crissy Obermok; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Dylan, McKayla, Brenden, Lawrence, Thaddeus, Gabriela, McKenzie, Trevor, Ethan, Connor, Jessica and Piper; his siblings, Connie Kaufman (late Hal) and Kevin Marcola (Suzanne); his sister-in-law Renate Springer (late Horst); his son-in-law Derek Obermok; and his cousin Germany. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
