It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon DeMeritt of Lake Orion, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sharon had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sharon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Johnson and Winifred Johnson; and her brother Steven G. Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Derrick DeMeritt (Jen) and Vail DeMeritt (Kellie); and her grandchildren, William, Mikaila, Vivian and Brecken.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion Chapel (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Breakthrough T1D (Formerly JDRF) or to the organization of one's choice.
