He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Garvey. He is survived by: his father Lawrence Garvey Jr.; his siblings, Colleen Gudding (Hans), Michael Garvey (Sandi), Kathleen Haney and Sharon Daldine (Joseph); and his girlfriend Dina Hall. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews.
