It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Louis Zimmerman (Lake Orion, Michigan), who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina Venable (Robert "Bob"); and his brothers, Jim, Wally and Alfred. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Cheryl Dimattia, David Zimmerman (Vicki) and Dawn Barnes (Robert); his grandchildren, David Dimattia (Casey), Chloe Dimattia, Cade Zimmerman, Melanie Zimmerman, Katie Vanderheyden, Jake Vanderheyden, Ryan Barnes, Kevin Barnes, Bobby Venable (Charlee) and Jamie Venable; his great grandchildren, Jax, Brendan and Audrey; his sisters, Margaret Russo (late Tony) and Marianne White; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Studley (Warren) and Sylvia Culpacker (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
