With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Aurell Janisse of Lake Orion, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Janisse and Anne Marie Janisse; and his in-laws, Albert and Virginia Shay. He is survived by: his brothers, Marcel, Andre and George; his child Maurie; his brother Andy; his wife Jeanne Janisse (Shay); and his children, Reese Janisse (Jaime), Julie White (Doug), Jerry Janisse (Mary Beth), Tom Janisse (Julie), Ginger Webster (Mark), Marcel Janisse (Theresa), Roger Janisse (Angie), Jenny Murphy (Marty), Chris Janisse (Jeri Ann) and Jeff Janisse (Danielle). He is also survived by his 10 children, 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren all of their spouses, 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Hospice or an organization of choice in Maurie's Honor.
