He was predeceased by: his parent Irene Alessandro; his parent-in-law Donna Killebrew; and also Matt Peyser. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Chase Campbell and Vanessa Campbell (Nick); his stepchildren, Dan Hoban (Annie) and Kevin Hoban (Sari); his grandchild Lainey Hoban; his parent James Alessandro; his sibling Kathleen Alessandro (Fred); his parent-in-law William Killebrew (Gerrie); his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Buhr (Jamie), Kevin Killebrew (Cathy) and Kady Peyser (Mark); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Frank (Clint), Rachel Frank, Josh Frank (Mallory), Bill Buhr (Kelly), Jamie Buhr (Abbie), Tom Buhr (Emily) and Hank Peyser (Jarvie). He is also survived by aunts, cousins, numerous friends from Cabrini High School, golf buddies, work friends.

In lieu of flowers his family requests a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
