It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ann a Foster of Lake Orion, Michigan, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel James and Elizabeth McCarthy (Gaffney); and her siblings, Margaret, Joseph, Kenneth, Vincent and John Paul.

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Jane McCarthy and Sandy McCarthy; her husband Donald M. Foster; and her children, Cathy Robertson (David), Diane Cromwell (Brad), John Foster (Cathy) and Terese McMichael (Kevin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
