He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Recknagel and Mary Recknagel; his siblings, Robert, Patricia Ketter (Richard), MaryAnn Lisk (Charles) and Frances Sweeney (Patrick); and his former wives, Delores Recknagel (Ardelan), Rochelle Mongene and Frieda Kesslering.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Recknagel (Karen), Debbie Booth (Recknagel) and David Recknagel (Sheri); and his grandchildren, Nathan Recknagel (Cali), William Booth (Sarah), Chelsey Johnson (Dave), Allegra Kremkus (Ethan), Veronica Plotkowski (John) and Max Recknagel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
