He is survived by: his parents, Sharon Schmalz (Smith) of Harbor Beach and Jose Martinez of Phoenix, AZ; his brother Zachary Martinez (Anastasia) of Attica; his aunts and uncles, Pam Semp (Mike) of Harbor Beach, Sue Lynch (Bob) of Port Hope, Jan Smith (Greg Gerkin) of Harbor Beach, Mark Smith (Kelley-Anne) of Harbor Beach, Matthew Smith (Diane) of Lowell, Beth Welker of Harbor Beach, Paul Schmalz of Valley View, OH and Daniel Schmalz (Rory) of Aiken, SC; and his half-brothers, Richard and Daniel Martinez.
