It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Shinavier of Lake Orion, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allried Shinavier and Theresa Shinavier (Sams); his wife Janet Shinavier; his child Dean (Pam); and his sister Joanna.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Cathy) and Gary; and his siblings, Larry (Sharon), Linda (Donny), Deanna (late Dominic) and Dennis. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion Chapel (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
