He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Joanne Kalish (Joachim); his sister Suzanne; his wife Rebecca; and his son David. He is survived by: his father Adam Martin; his daughter Leah Kalish (Loren); his granddaughter Katherine; his pets, Jack and Montgomery; and his son Charles Miller III. He is also survived by father figure and mentor, along with his family and lifelong friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of his son David or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in remembrance of Becky.
