She was predeceased by: her husband George William Carty; and her siblings, Osborne, Adelbert, Alexander, Agnes, Marguerite, Gertrude, Susan, Fanny and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Medford (Will Fiches), Nancy (William McDevitt) and Lake Orion; her grandchildren, Eric, Ryan and John; her brother George; and her great grandchildren, George, Max, Molly, Nora and Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
