He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Velma Jean; his sons, James Powell, Alfred Powell Jr. (Deborah K.), Bruce Powell (Sandra) and Daniel Powell; his grandchildren, Melissa, Heather, Daniel, Connor, Bruce II, Matthew and Stefanie; his great grandchildren, Leah, Kaitlyn, Bryant, Teagan, Devin, Makayla and Joey; and his great great grandchildren, Emma and Xavier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion Chapel (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Square Lake Cemetery.
