He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude and Emma; his uncle Walter; and his granddaughter Amanda. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Kang of Battle Creek and Robert Allen Jewell (Kimberly) of Escanaba; and his wife Evelyn Geneva Schunk.
