She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Desgranges and Frieda Desgranges (Makley); her husband Merv; her sister Diana Wilfong; her brother-in-law Jerry Benjamin; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Carter (Karrie), Kelly Carter (Pam), Kim VanNeste (Brian) and Gina Meyers (Brent Hilley); her grandchildren, Josh (Kallie), Travis (Jill), Brady (Melissa), Jennie (Lucas), Erica, Emilie, Eric (Shawna), Chris (Jamie), Kacie Jo (Shaun), Paul (Gabrielle), Kellie (Jeremy), Matt (Justina) and Rachel (Ryan); her sister Ruthie Benjamin; and her brother-in-law Bernie Wilfong. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
