He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Lawrence O'Mara; his wife Paige; his children, Branden (Kristin), Mara, Gabriel O'Mara (Megan), Wade O'Mara (Liz) and Hannah O'Mara; his mother Ruth O'Mara; his grandchildren, Grant O'Mara, Maeve O'Mara and Brenna O'Mara; and his siblings, Patricia Ironside (Bob), Dennis O'Mara (Kim), Teresa Kelly (Mel), Ed O'Mara (Kristi), Shawn O'Mara (Kathy) and Melissa O'Gorman (Shawn). He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
