With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Ann Benson of Lake Odessa, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Behnke and Elsie Behnke (Weidenfeller); her former husbands, William L. Rice and Loyal LeRoy Benson; her daughter Suzanne DeGier; her granddaughter Cynthia DeGier-Sundstrom; and her siblings, Robert Behnke and Marian Elaine Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Marian Durkee, Kathy Othmer, Ken Benson (Carole), Bruce Benson (Hope), Mike Rice (Lou), Pam Shears, Dave Benson (Patti), Judy Rodriguez (Mike) and Paul Benson (Jessica); her brother-in-law Martin Johnson; and her husband Roy.
