We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2022, at the age of 85, Lavern Swartz of Lake Odessa, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Andrew Jantzi; his wife Marcella Swartz (Zook); his stepmother Fanny; his siblings, Marlin Swartz and Betty Beiler (Swartz); and his brother-in-law Dean Kauffman.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Swartz (April) of Lake Odessa, MI., Don Swartz (Jan), Dave Swartz (Rhoda) of Cannelburg, IN., John Swartz (Arleta) of Clarksville, MI. and Dan Swartz (Sherri) of Apple Creek, OH.; his siblings, Twila Seland (Paul) of Harrisonburg Virgina and Arnold Swartz of Pinconning; his sister-in-law Sherrill Swartz; and his stepsiblings, Carl Litwiller (Nancy) of Harrisonburg Virgina, Glen Litwiller (Naomi) of Grants Pass, Clifford Litwiller (Carol) of Sterling, Larry Litwiller (Nelda) of Harrisonburg Virgina and Nancy Kauffman (Litwiller) of Middlebury.
