It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jill Laine VanDeVelde of Lake Odessa, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Swift and Patricia Swift (Walsh); her daughter Mary VanDeVelde; her brothers, Kelly Walkington and Tom Swift; and her sister-in-law Kelly Tingley.

She is survived by : her husband Mick VanDeVelde; her children, Michael VanDeVelde (April) and Cathy Lum (Jon); her siblings, Pamela Tingley and Bob Tingley (Jolene); and her sister-in-law Karol Swift. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
