He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Owen G. Gilbert and Vernie (Laningham); his wife Judy Teller Gilbert; his daughters, Karen Oesch (Ken), Nancy Cannon (Gordon), Marilyn Goodemoot (Kyle) and Jennifer Teller Sherman (Steve); his son-in-law Steve Buche; his grandchildren, Keith Cannon (Clayton), Mark Oesch (Andrew George), Nikki Charriere, Jim Oesch (Jami), Kerry McConnell (Jason), Lance Goodemoot (Kristen), Lea Osborne (Chad), Linsey Dykhouse (Darrell), Jessica Buche and Emily Spitzley (Andy); his former wife Janet Gilbert (Sandborn); his daughter Peggy Buche; and his great grandchild Joshua Harold. He was also cherished by 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
