He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Mossburg and Aenone Mossburg (Smith); his daughters, Jean Beckett, Jo Linda Walters (Peter) and Kay Davis (Paul); his grandchildren, Amy Stark (Michael), Beth Paczak (Jeff), Jo Anna Stewart (Chris), Jessica Jones (Nate), Josh Beckett (Natalie), Jacob Beckett (Alix), Shelby Madland (Mitch), Taylor Kunz (Jeff), Neil Davis (Cassandra), Eric Davis (Brianne) and Ellen Davis; his wife Doris; his daughter Ann Tucker; his sons-in-law, Joe Tucker and John Beckett; and his siblings, Louis, Leon and Nancy Campbell. He was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Central United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
