With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy C. Reicha of Lake Leelanau, Michigan, born in Suttons Bay, Michigan, who passed away on September 3, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Schaub and Clara Schaub (Harp); her husband Julian A. Reicha; her son Walter Reicha; and her siblings, Theodore Schaub (Pauline), Rosaline Kiessel (Clifford), Leona Salisbury (Guy) and Willard Schaub (Barbara).
She is survived by: her children, Diane Gyarmati (Michael), Ronnie Reicha Sr., Arlene Hege (David) and Janice Wark (Robert); her siblings, Mildred Brockhuis, Albert Schaub, Irene Hawkins (Jim), Gladys Dover and Ralph Schaub (Josa); and her grandchildren, Ronnie Reicha Jr., Robin Henry (Tom), Michael Phanawong (Andrea), Nolan Reicha, Nina Reicha, Jennifer VanWagner (Patrick Piekarski), Matthew VanWagner (Maria), Corey VanWagner (Kirsten), Alex Wark (Alyssa), Shannon Ortegan (Joe) and John Jacob (Amy). She is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She also made quilts to donate to patients at the Leelanau Memorial Hospital.
