He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kress and Jayne Kress (Braden); his sons, Robert, Russell Kress and Danny Towery; and his siblings, Sandy Shapter, Dawn Normant and Dean Kress.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judi Kress Williams (Dave) of California and Virginia Ridge of Texas; his former woodsman mate Darlene; his friend Barbara Ann; and also Rene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
