He was predeceased by: his wife Barb Short; his son Jim Short (Linda); and his brothers, George Short and Bob Short (late Gaye). He is survived by: his child Christie Gabriel; and his brothers, Steve Short (Minnie), Harry Short (Catherine) and Tim Short.
