She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Viges and Hazel Viges (Burdick); her husband Gardner Vanderstow; her daughter Denise Huxtable; her son-in-law Vaughn Dontje; and her siblings, Virgene Viges, Katheryn Dutcher and Donald Viges. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
