He is survived by: his wife Veronica Blaszak; his sons, Allan Kmiec (Lisa) and John Kmiec (Laura); his grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Wyatt and Dylan Kmiec; his siblings, Lawrence Kmiec (Gloria), Thomas Kmiec (Catherine) and Elizabeth Carrol (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, David Blaszak (Sherry), Dan Blaszak, Joseph Blaszak (Kim), Juanita Blaszak and Mary Maciborski.
