With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Solomon Cox of Lake City, Michigan, born in Manton, Michigan, who passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Solomon Cox to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Ralph and Laura Hazel Cox (Shrontz); his siblings, Laura Cox, Audrey Kerns, Orley, Ira and Gerald; and his son-in-law Gary Soule.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; and his children, Sharon Soule, Brenda Heckman (David), Tim Cox (Diane) and Valerie Farr (Mike) of McBain. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The family is requesting memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
