He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ralph and Laura Hazel Cox (Shrontz); his siblings, Laura Cox, Audrey Kerns, Orley, Ira and Gerald; and his son-in-law Gary Soule.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; and his children, Sharon Soule, Brenda Heckman (David), Tim Cox (Diane) and Valerie Farr (Mike) of McBain. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family is requesting memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
