He was predeceased by: his brother Duane. He is survived by: his wife Patti L. Root; his children, Shannon (Michael), Kimberly, Derek, Trisha (Mike), Kristyn and Travis; and his sisters, Linda McIlrath and Wendy Pickott. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
