She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert VanderLaan and Harriet VanderLaan; her husband John Henry Dorland; her siblings, Kenneth VanderLaan, James VanderLaan (Bernice), Ruthie VanderLaan and Helen VanderLaan; and her son Kenneth John Dorland.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Michele Dorland of Evart; and her children, Gregory Dorland (Barbara) of Caledonia, Jeffrey Dorland (Frieda) of Lake City and Brenda Becker (David) of Wyoming. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She would fashion items for gifts, for donation, and for sale at craft bazaars.
