With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kayleonna A. Ervin of Lake City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 12. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kayleonna A. Ervin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Jerry Allen Carpenter and Alexander Heard; and her sister Kaleigh Ervin. She is survived by: her parents, Sunshine Norman (Martinez) of Lake City and Derrick Ervin of Traverse City; her grandmother Kathy Jo Carpenter; her siblings, Amber King (Dakota), Lyric Ervin, Justice Carpenter (Haley Cubitt), JJ Carpenter and Isaac Ervin; her aunts, Starr Smith (Charles) and Katherine Priest (Robert); and her nieces and nephews, Madilynn, Aurora, Araya, Huston and Jackson. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home (620 N Mitchell St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
